summer notes...

in blue!
One more in a series of Art Journals I completed this past month.
For this one too I used "ghost" prints, cyanotype botanical photograms, exposed hinge stitching, hand torn Rives BFK and as always a lot of attention to detail. To me the colors of this book scream summer! The most suitable use would be notes and sketches from arty days by the sea...

  1. I love your handmade book and hot summer prints..
and the color blue-- thanks for explaining the process as it all looks fascinating.

  2. Hi Anna, welcome to Book Art Object! I love your cyanotype prints and that wonderful summery blue. Carol

  3. I'm in awe of your cyanotype botanical photograms! Beautiful work.

  4. Anna,
I've just found your wonderful blogs. I am in awe of your beautiful prints - or maybe it is envy instead! I've been reading all the previous posts and find it amazing that we share interest in the same book - I have a copy of the Victorian photo collage book myself. I love it. I shall now be looking out for the other paper book you mentioned. You've inspired me to do some cyanotype printing again! I shall have to wait for the sun here in the UK but when it comes out, I shall be experimenting again! Thank you. Lesley

  5. Hi Anna,
