old traces...
Shapes derived from symbols embedded in my personal history, memories of what these symbols represented in my childhood, a mushroom spore print marking a special paper -special because of the message scribbled in its back...-, these are the ingredients composing my "old traces" structure I assembled recently.

give away... conclusion!
This morning the final step for my very first give away was completed!
In a "cool", bare of emotions but still very much aware of aesthetics mode..., I conducted the draw; and my tiny tiny goes to: Printed Material - please email me your address. Congratulations!
Many thanks to everyone for the kindest and most wonderful comments; I enjoyed every bit of this activity and I plan to do it again...

mini-tiny- small!

Here is one more miniature structure I've just completed, all fresh and springy despite the cold front approaching... Perhaps is the feel of the just born new year that's causing me to think small and delicate, influencing my design concept at least as far as dimensions go... Anyway, being still in this delicate mini works phase, I am also reminded of the date approaching for my promised give away: next Saturday!
If you have not already done it, it's still time to comment and enter in this new year's "thank you" give away-gift; for details check out the previous post.
I sure hope you'll get it!!!

a Thank YOU...
new year's give away Gift!
My lilliputian [new] book I named (what else?) "tiny"!
I don't really work in small formats, I actually tend to attempt bigger and bigger structures, but this time I felt like creating a miniature work - perhaps the first of many more to come...
My lilliputian [new] book I named (what else?) "tiny"!
I don't really work in small formats, I actually tend to attempt bigger and bigger structures, but this time I felt like creating a miniature work - perhaps the first of many more to come...
Photographing tiny was fun too, trying out my brand new camera: a super wonderful gift from my son Mark!
And while in this sunny mood, and thinking of all the joy I've received from you all visiting, following and commenting here, I am going to offer one of my miniature works as a "thank you" give-away gift! Please leave a comment here, anything you like to say about this blog, blogs in general, art, paper, friendship, wishes for a creative new year... whatever! On Saturday, January 14 I will let you know who will be the recipient of one of my latest miniature structures, signed and made with love!
